Plan With Me: October 2018 (Pumpkin theme)

IMG_1552.jpg

Greetings bookish friends! October is just around the corner, so are my bullet journal spreads for the month of October. I’m really happy with how these turned out, and I’m thinking that this may be my new favorite theme! Autumn is my favorite season, and I love pumpkin pie! *Who doesn’t?*

I will also be posting this on my newly begun bookstagram/artstagram account. The username is @katiethatbookishgirl. Please help support this blog by giving it a follow!

Supplies:

  • Minimalism Art A5 Dotted Journal (Any dotted journal works)
  • Crayola Supertips (I have the 100 count, but most people use the 50 count)
  • A pen
  • A pencil
  • An eraser

If you want me to be honest, I am excited to change into a new bullet journal in 2019 because I’m finding that the pages in the Minimalism Art A5 Dotted Journal have a lot of ghosting. It might have just been that I colored in the pumpkins with my supertips too quick, or that I may need thicker pages for my next bullet journal.

Sorry if you see any marker bleeding through the pages!

First is my cover page/quote. Overall, I love how this spread turned out and think the quote fits nicely with the theme.

Next in my monthly log. I am also really happy with the end result and think it ties in with the theme. I have a little sidebar box on the left which is my social media growth tracker. It was inspired by Amanda Rach Lee (my favorite youtuber). If you aren’t already following her, go check her out she is amazing!

Here is my habit tracker and money tracker. (Also inspired by Amanda Rach Lee, by the way). Although filling out trackers can sometimes be boring, I think that I will put these to use. I also doodled a cute little pumpkin patch at the bottom of the page, which I absolutely love!

And lastly is my weekly spread. I decided to do a dutch door style spread and think it looks perfect! This was my first time trying this style of weekly spreads, and so far I’m really liking it. It’s very functional for me because I can look at my weekly events while having my to-do/homework list out. I will definitely be doing this spread more in the future.

Plan With Me: September 2018 (Pinecone and Acorn theme)

IMG_1349.jpg

Greetings bookish friends! Guess who’s back from her mini hiatus? Fall is just around the corner, so I decided to have pinecones and acorns as my theme for September. I was going to do falling leaves, but then I realized that I don’t actually know how to draw a leaf. 😂 Or, at least a decent leaf that I would be comfortable posting on the internet.

But I do think that I have some pretty good pinecones and acorns! So without further ado, here is my September 2018 Plan With Me.

Here is my cover page! On the left I have a random quote about fall, and on the right is my standard monthly doodles. Sorry if you’re not able to see the pinecones and acorns very well, the picture came out a little blurry.

Now to my monthly log/calendar. I’m really happy with how this spread turned out in general and I think it looks very aesthetic overall.

IMG_1354.jpg

Next is my weekly log! I find these to be very useful when planning upcoming events and tests, because its bigger than the monthly log and there is more space to write.

Ok, I know that the official NaNoWriMo or CampNaNo is not going on right now. But I am planning on participating in NaNoWriMo 2018 and I want to have a head start. *Without cheating of course* I will be tracking the progress of my first draft using this spread. I’ll probably add in more pinecones and acorns to decorate the page because it feels a little bit blank right now.

Next is my money tracker and a blank spread for notes.

And lastly, my weekly spread! I was going to write the date inside the pinecones and acorns but realized that I didn’t have enough room…

Plan With Me: August 2018 (Balloon theme)

IMG_1170.jpg

Hi, everyone and welcome back to another Plan With Me post. This month I will be doing a balloon and cloud theme. I got my awesome cloud doodles from AmandaRachLee, a popular bullet journal youtuber.

Sorry that this post was a little bit late, but I hope it gives inspiration anyway. Hope you enjoy!

In case you guys didn’t know, I am participating in the NaNoWriMo challenge! Well…kinda. I am basically writing 50K words in three months of a new novel. Then when the *real* NaNoWriMo Challenge comes around in November, I will be prepared! Check out my profile here. Then we can be writing buddies!

The “Books I read spread” is actually a mistake! I was going to have it be a header with calligraphy (using the Crayola Supertips) but I messed up! I decided to cover it up by coloring my mistake in. 😉 #bujohacks

I find it very useful to track expenses, even if it isn’t very fun!
