My One Year Blogaversary // A Q&A!

IMG_5779

Greetings bookish friends! Hooray! It’s my one-year-blogaversary! I asked my Instagram followers to ask me questions that they would like answered, so I have complied a list of some intriguing responses I received.

There were over 50 responses (thank you so much for all of the endless support 😊) but I will only answer 15 questions! I apoligize if your question wasn’t answered, but don’t worry, there will definately be more of these in the future if it’s something you’re intrested in!

Q1: What country are from? @bujo_kookie

A1: I’m from the United States and live in Southern California!

Q2: How old are you? @buttercupandbloom
A2: I’m a smol bujo bean at 13 years old!

Q3: What are your favorite pen/markers that you use? @zhoureflites
A3: I am obsessed with the Sakura Pigma Microns! They are THE BEST fineliners I’ve ever used!

Q4: If you were a literary character, who would you be? @lildots.bigplans
A4: I would be Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter — she has such an interesting personality!

Q5: What is your favorite and least favorite part about blogging? @avamcgovern_
A5: My favorite part is writing the blog posts and interacting with my followers! My least favorite is blog design…it’s so hard! 🤧🙌🏼

Q6: What stationary would you recommend for beginners of bujo and calligraphy? @carla.m.art
A6: The Tombow Fudenonske brush pen is an excellent “first” calligraphy pen. The crayola supertips are also an inexpensive but practical stationary tool for bujo — they come in a ton of different colors!

Q7: What’s your favorite animal, the one that you draw inspo from, how does that inspo come out in your life? @salmonstudys
A7: I love to draw bunnies! (I’m really good at it, and bunnies are just so cute!) 🥰

Q8: How do you decide themes for your bullet journal? @zaina.bullet
A8: I ask my followers what they would like to see on my Instagram stories, and do what they suggest or some variation of it.

Q9: When did you decide to start a blog and how long did it take you to make your blog? @avavanvoorst

A9: I first started blogging when I was 10 years old on a different blog called The Tweendom Kingdom. It was preety fast and easy to make that blog, and it had a pretty simple design. It took me a lot longer to design and perfect this blog! WordPress makes it fairly easy to do graphic blog design. This is a really in-depth question, so I will likely make a blog post about it soon if you want!

Q10: Do you really like books that much? Cuz same girl! @cinnajournals

A10: Asking me if I like books is like asking me if I like breathing…I need to do it to stay alive! 😂 Ok, that was pretty cheesy, but I do love books!

Q11: Do you use (habit, mood…) trackers in your monthly layouts? @vitti_notes

A11: Yes, I love using habit and mood trackers in my bujo spreads! Some months I forget to fill them out, and a lot of people in the bujo and study community don’t like them, but I often find them motivating!

Q12: What is your favorite type of blog post to write? @purelyolivia

A12: I love writing WISvsWIF blog posts (although I haven’t done one of those in quite a while) and posts about important topics! For example my earth day blog post.

Q13: Your inspiration in doing bujo? @thecpalettters

A13: I love calligraphy and doodling, and I think bujo is a great way to make working and being productive a lot more fun!

Q14: What is the hardest thing about having a blog? @margpcastbujo

A14: For me, the hardest thing about having a blog is staying on top of a consistent posting schedule! Sometimes life gets in the way of me writing a blog post when I should have, or occasionally I just plain forget!

Q15: Who are your favorite bloggers? @gracedoesblogs

A15: Ummm you? 😘 Grace you are literally such an inspiraion and a wonderful blogger! I also love Purely Olivia, The Ray of Sunshine Blog, Clara & Co, and A Purpose of Winged Dogs to name a few. But there are so many other amazing bloggers out there! Us bloggers work so hard! Kudos to all the brilliant, talented, and beautiful people who have the drive to run a blog. 😊

OK, let’s start off by being honest here. In the past 24 hours, how lazy do you think you have been? 100% being extremely lazy and 0% being extremely hardworking. Think about this. If you want, you can scroll down to the comments and put down your answer without looking.

And without further ado, I present to you The Laziness Cycle™.

1. When you realize that you’ve been watching Netflix for 3+ hours

What I say: Oh come on, I’ve only been watching for 45 minutes, more or less!

What I feel deeeep down: You need to get off the couch and live your life. There is more to this world than salty dried up popcorn and cringing at Netflix teen dramas.

2. When you go outside but then feel like a vampire

I couldn’t really find a ‘Vampire screaming in pain when outside’ GIF so I chose this bee. (It’s pretty legit, as you can see)

What I say: What a beautiful day!

What I feel deeeep down: MY INNER SOUL IS BURNING FROM THE HEAT OF THE ETERNAL FIRE OF THE SUN. I HAVE BEEN INSIDE FAR TOO LONG. NOOOOOOO!
