💛Day-Dreaming💛

This one is kind of cheesy, but whatever! Daydreaming is enjoyable and a great way to get good ideas.

You get idea from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time.

The only difference between writers and other people is we notice when we’re doing it.

📝Poetry + Writing📝

As many of you already know, I am not only an avid reader, but a writer. One of my favorite types of writing is poetry. Although I rarely write poetry, I think it is beautiful.

🌎Globes🌎

Globes may seem like a random, insignificant household object, but oh boy, you’re wrong. Globes tell the story of the earth. It’s lakes, mountains, oceans, deserts, you name it. It is a tangible display of humanity’s regime on planet earth and a precise graph of existence and space. Wow, I am such an intelligent, observant scholar. You can find the timezone of a certain location in comparison to another. And, one can even see the center of the world.*

Also, it spins.

I find this extremely entertaining.
*Fun Fact: The center of the world is where the Equator and the Prime-Meridian meet, off the coast of West Africa

🌿Plants🌿

Person: Globes and poetry? And now plants? Wow, Katie needs to get out more no offense…

Me: Excuse me? Globes are awesome, poetry is beautifully artistic, and plants are amazing.

Person: *Coughs in spite of all the smoke because oooooof they got roasted so hard by Katie That Bookish Girl herself. Call 911, the world is on fire. 🔥

Just kidding, that wasn’t a roast, but globes, poetry, and plants are superb. First of all, plants are great for maintaining and keeping safe, refreshing, air quality levels in your home. Plants are also decorative and look good on a desk or a table. Not only that, but plants require little attention and care. All that is needed is a small amount of water every day, depending on what type of plant you are purchasing.

Just now realizing that in the paragraph above I sounded like a salesmen at Home Depot or Lowe’s.

I have a houseplant on my desk named Josephine (yes, I name my plants 😂) and I really enjoy having her.

📺The Office📺

This one should be pretty obvious because I used a little bit of foreshadowing expressing my love for The Office a GIF ago.

My favorite character is, without a doubt, Pam Beesely.

Also Jim and Pam are sooooooooo perfect together. Whenever they’re on-screen together, my inner fangirl swoons inside.

Why Luna is the best Harry Potter character

Hello, squad! Today I will be proving that Luna Lovegood is the best Harry Potter character. Pull out your butterbeer, sit back, and relax!

Blog Arrow Gold

1. She was always incredibly kind – even when other’s weren’t

giphy-downsized1

Luna Lovegood was never popular. In fact, she was made fun of numerous times for her unique personality. Often times other kids would call her “Loony Lovegood”, talking badly about her behind her back, and stealing her stuff. I am a hardcore Harry Potter fan and I can’t think of one time where Luna was ever or snappy to her bullies, even though they were insensitive and cruel.

Not to mention the fact that she consistently keeps a positive outlook on life. And she hasn’t had an easy life. Her mother died at a young age, and she doesn’t really have any friends.*

*I’m sorry to all you hardcore Luna fangirls(boys)

2. She doesn’t care what other people think of her

200w_d

Luna has not, does not, will not ever let others negatively affect her.  No matter what society’s rules are, or no matter how obviously awkward people perceive her, she doesn’t care. She is comfortable in her own dreamy, socially akward, state of being. You go, girl!

3. She was never afraid

Does anybody remember Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix**?

**That super long blue book where Harry was super moody and annoying and with Mrs. Umbridge Evil that you kind of wanted to DNF but ended up being really good and became everyone’s favorite but nobody wants to reread it because it’s actually really boring at some parts and super loooooong

Who was the bravest character?

Harry?

Nope.

It was Luna.

She was the first one to volunteer to help Harry save Sirrus Black at the Ministry of Magic and inspired others in the group to join as well. She indirectly showed that she was willing to do whatever it takes to save Sirrus, even though she didn’t know who he was. When she arrived (more accurately broke into) the Ministry of Magic, she fought bravely to help the most important people of all – her friends.

Also, she fought in the Battle of Hogwarts alongside her peers, which was also pretty legit.
